Before taking the leap into Real Estate, I had dedicated 20 years to growing my career in Physician Recruitment Management in the Hospital setting. This role required skill in selling the community to physicians and administrators; a role that translates easily to the Real Estate profession. In 2018, my career brought me to Chattanooga, and CHI Memorial Hospital. I enjoyed great success that year, and then 2020 arrived, along with Covid-19 and the Pandemic.
2020 had been a mixed blessing of sorts. While the Pandemic had certainly affected us all in one way or another, it was arguably a great year for Real Estate Professionals. While my profession had taken a turn for the worse, my wife, Cassie Hollis (the other half of The Hollis Group), was experiencing one of her best years in the Real Estate profession as interest rates neared all time lows and the housing market experienced enormous growth. Existing home sales and home remodels all enjoyed one of the best periods ever, as families fled large urban cities, high tax rates, and large crowds - in favor of less populous regions of the country, suburbs, and even rural areas where homesteading was catching fire; all the by-product of the mainstream acceptance and embracement of the telecommuting phenomena. I joined my wife at The James Company Real Estate Brokers and Development in September of 2020.
In addition to my new Real Estate license in Tennessee, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance.
As Cassie and I grow our real estate business, we are focused on developing our brand: Building Relationships. I have witnessed first hand how Cassie goes above and beyond for her clients; most of whom have become not only past clients, but long-term friends. It truly is her calling. My aim is to bring Cassie’s same dedication and relationship building success to my own practice in Real Estate.
